Description

The Center for Interfaith Action on Global Poverty (CIFA) hosted, at its new headquarters at the Washington National Cathedral, a consultation convened by Ed Scott, Chairman, and Tim Shriver, President, and the UN Special Envoy for Malaria, Ray Chambers. The consultation’s participants were drawn from a myriad of sectors, including philanthropy, religion, faith-based organizations, the corporate world and the international development community. The group concluded that quickly mobilizing significant resources to support interfaith action on malaria was a critical next step in helping to support the 2010-2015 goals of eradicating malaria.
